As any parent knows, getting kids to play outside can be challenging in a world of electronic entertainment. However, there are many good reasons why you should encourage your kids to spend time outdoors, playing in a cubby house, swing set, sandpits and bouncy castles. For one thing, playing outside can help them to stay active and get much-needed exercise. It can also help them to develop coordination and motor skills. Moreover, playing outside in a cubby house can boost their imagination and creativity. So next time your kids ask to stay inside and play video games, suggest they go outside and play in their Cubby House instead!
The Caboodle Shack with Swing Set includes a generous cubby space, mud kitchen, ladder, climbing wall, and a swing attachment with 2 swings. Optional monkey bars and slide can be purchased separately. Rock wall, ladder, and slide can be repositioned during assembly to suit your space.
All cubbies come with pre-made panels and pre-drilled holes for easy assembly with 2 people and a cordless drill (2–3 hours). The cubby includes Perspex windows and a wooden door, made from premium Canadian Hemlock and/or Fir Wood. Timber is steam-treated for natural protection against rot and decay — no chemical treatments used.
Painted with a temporary water-based stain (grey roof/walls and wood-look sandpit). We recommend repainting with two coats of primer and two coats of Taubmans outdoor paint within 4 weeks for longevity. A Taubmans discount code will be supplied with purchase.
Slide and handles are yellow by default. Other slide colours shown have been custom-painted by customers.
Max Capacity: 3–4 children (approx. 100kg total)
Note: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Adult supervision required. Accessories/toys not included.
