As any parent knows, getting kids to play outside can be challenging. In a world of electronic entertainment, however, there are many good reasons to encourage outdoor play. Cubby houses, sandpits, and swing sets inspire creativity, build coordination, and promote healthy, active fun.
Lovely Shack – Ground Level Cubby House
This large ground-level cubby features shop-style windows with shelves, a spacious verandah with fence, a letterbox, and a 1.2m tall front door — high enough for adults to stand inside. Constructed from steam-treated Canadian Hemlock and/or Fir Wood, it’s naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insect attack (no chemicals used).
Pre-painted in a non-toxic, water-based temporary stain. For long-lasting durability, we recommend repainting your cubby with two coats of primer and Taubmans outdoor paint within 4 weeks. A discount code for Taubmans is provided with your invoice.
Easy Assembly: Pre-made panels & pre-drilled holes. Assembles in approx. 2–3 hours with two adults and a battery drill.
Max Capacity: 3–4 children or approx. 100kg total
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Adult supervision required. Accessories not included. Colour finish may vary.
